DJS Metal & Lead Roofing Ltd have now been awarded the Project of The German School, Richmond London. Works are to include the supply and installation of code 5 milled lead in a wood roll system including all details to the New Extension.

Project Description

The German School, Richmond’s Lead Roofing Upgrade Project is a celebration of precision and dedication. Here’s a glimpse into the essential elements of this exciting endeavor:

  1. Supply and Installation of Code 5 Milled Lead: The heart of this project lies in the supply and installation of code 5 milled lead. This exceptional material, known for its longevity and durability, will be employed to create a robust and reliable roofing system. It’s not just about function but also about ensuring that the building remains a symbol of quality education for generations to come.
  2. Wood Roll System: The code 5 milled lead will be laid within a wood roll system, carefully designed to provide structural integrity and longevity. This system ensures that the lead is securely in place and properly set to withstand the test of time.
  3. A1F Building Paper: A1F building paper, a trusted and time-tested component in construction, will be employed to provide an additional layer of protection and moisture control. This ensures that the roofing system remains stable and resistant to external elements.
  4. Set Out to 600mm Centres: Precision is key in this project. The code 5 milled lead will be set out to 600mm centers, ensuring not only structural stability but also a clean and visually appealing finish.
