We are pleased to share details of our recent works at Devonport Dockyard. This project focused on the careful renewal of the roof coverings while preserving the integrity of the existing structure.
The works involved the removal of the existing lead roof coverings, followed by repairs to the timber deck to ensure a sound base for the new installation. We then supplied and installed new Code 7 sand cast lead, provided by CEL Lead & Hard Metals, to deliver a durable and traditional finish. In addition, new Code 5 sand cast lead flashings were installed, completing the roof with high-quality detailing and weather protection.
