We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a new project at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, involving a range of roofing works to improve the existing roof structure and ensure it performs efficiently.
The works will include the supply and installation of new timber firings fixed to the existing roof, updating and improving the existing details. A new timber gutter will also be installed and fixed to the existing substrate, alongside additional timber firings to provide a suitable and sufficient pitch for effective rainwater drainage.
New plywood sheeting will then be supplied and laid over the new firings, ready for the installation of Bauder felt roof coverings to form the required roofing details. The project will also include the installation of new external capping and new flashing details, providing a complete and weather-resistant finish.
These works will help improve the overall performance, drainage and longevity of the existing roof at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
