Project Description

The scope of this ambitious project is a testament to our commitment to excellence. Each facet of the restoration process has been meticulously planned and designed to not only preserve but enhance the beauty and functionality of Brockley Corner:

  1. Removal of Existing Felt Shingles: The project kicks off with the careful removal of the existing felt shingles, making way for a new and improved roofing system.
  2. Removal of Existing Felt Gutters: To ensure optimal water drainage and prevent any potential water damage, existing felt gutters will be removed and replaced with more efficient alternatives.
  3. Removal of Existing Skylight: Out with the old, in with the new. The existing skylight will be removed to make room for a sleeker and more modern version that aligns with the client’s vision.
  4. Completion of Timber Repairs: Before the installation of the new roofing system, any timber repairs required will be meticulously undertaken to ensure the structure’s durability.
  5. Installation of Vapour Control Layer: A critical step in enhancing energy efficiency and reducing moisture-related issues, the installation of a vapour control layer is essential for the project.
  6. Installation of 120 PIR Insulation: In pursuit of both comfort and sustainability, the project includes the installation of 120 PIR insulation to regulate temperature and reduce energy consumption.
  7. New Timber Gutters to All Areas: Timber gutters, both functional and visually appealing, will be installed throughout the property to enhance its aesthetics and functionality.
  8. Installation of VM Zinc Underlay: For superior waterproofing and durability, VM Zinc underlay will be installed as part of the roofing system.
  9. Installation of 0.7mm VM Zinc Quartz: Aesthetic excellence meets modern innovation with the installation of 0.7mm VM Zinc Quartz. This versatile material will be used for eaves aprons, hips, gutters, and fascia.
  10. Vertical Ventilation to Upper Section: Proper ventilation is crucial for maintaining a healthy living environment. Vertical ventilation will be added to the upper section of the property.
  11. Installation of Quartz Mesh to Vent: Quartz mesh will be used for vent installation, ensuring that the property remains well-ventilated and protected against unwanted guests.
  12. Installation of New Skylight: The final touch, a new skylight, will be installed, meticulously chosen to match the client’s specific vision for Brockley Corner.
