We are pleased to announce a new roofing project at Darwin College, Cambridge, involving the replacement of existing lead coverings and the installation of a new Bauder and green roof system.

The existing lead coverings, originally installed during the 1960s, are now in poor condition, with numerous previous repairs beginning to fail. Our works will involve the careful removal of the existing lead coverings from the roof area, façade and dormer windows.

New lead coverings will then be supplied and installed to the façade and dormer windows, along with new lead roof cappings, all completed in accordance with current LCA regulations.

To the flat roof area, we will install a new Bauder roofing system, together with a green roof system. This will provide a high-quality, environmentally friendly roofing solution designed to improve the performance and longevity of the building.

The completed works will bring the roof areas up to current standards while providing durable and sustainable protection for Darwin College for many years to come.
