This upgrade not only promises enhanced durability but also maintains the historical authenticity of these properties. The sand cast lead will be supplied by none other than CEL Lead & Hard Metals Ltd, known for their excellence in the field.
- Stripping of Areas of Existing Slates and Hips: The process begins with the careful removal of areas of the existing slates and hips. This step is essential for the structural assessment and preparation of the roofs for the new sand cast lead roofing.
- Stripping of Existing Sand Cast Lead Bays: The existing sand cast lead bays will be stripped, allowing for a meticulous examination and restoration of this iconic feature.
